After having published and designed over 100+ Navigation Menus for Blogger, both with horizontal and vertical list view, today we would like to share a beautiful menu that has remained the favorite choice of all MBT clients so far. This menu changes color for each tab on mouse hover. It uses simple JavaScript functions to produce neat and clean transition effects. Instead of displaying the sub menu items in traditional vertical drop down list, we aligned them with one another to fit into a single line. Back in the year 2008 when Blogger.com was moving through several update phases, third party developers would often take the golden opportunity of creating widgets for BlogSpot blogs but as soon as Google rolled out massive changes to their online services, several official widgets popped out which load fast and perform well because the scripts are served by Blogger servers. Page List and label cloud/list enabled designers to create dynamic menus. Since the stylesheet was made accessible. therefore we all got a chance to play with these widgets and transform them completely in look and appearance. We shared tutorials first time on how to create dynamic menus with page list and an automatic menu with label list and today we would share a simple stylesheet that will transform the labels cloud into organized small blocks that rotate on mouse over. I must ensure you that the styles are perfectly compatible in all major browsers including IE8+.
Just recently while redesigning a client's website, we figured that Linkwithin can completely be customized by overriding its default stylesheet. We used Google Chrome to identify the classes and IDs. This let us change the background colors of the thumbnail images, change the title text color and margining, add cool hover effects and most importantly remove the linkwithin credit link and logo link that appears towards the bottom-right corner of the plugin. We have created a sample style with dark theme and we would like to share the stylesheet, using which you can add your creative new looks to it and blend it perfectly with your blog looks and feel. Both BlogSpot and wordpress users would find this tutorial useful because all you would need to do is to copy and paste a simple CSS code. Lets get to work!
jCarousel is a jQuery plugin used widely for controlling list of items (both images, videos or text) in horizontal or vertical order. The items can be scrolled back and forth with animation. The carousel can be used either as image scroller or textscroller. It can be controlled externally with both JavaScript and AJAX and of course php. Two years ago we released a simple sharing widget using the flapper Icon set. We made use of CSS sprites in order to make the roll over effect more quick and effective. Now when we have already taught most of you how to apply CSS3 transitions, its time to apply them in a different way. I just designed two additional flapper icons for Pinterest and Google Plus and now this new version has several benefits over the previous. The Icons rotate vertically and flips upon mouse hover. The time taken by the effect is so small that the user rarely notices image shift. We will be releasing some more social media icons in coming days with some unseen CSS3 effects to let you take the full bliss of animation without using jquery. Please see a demo first:
Google custom search engine for websites and blogs is another way to provide easy navigation to your visitors and readers as well as make some extra cash out of Adsense. Its best advantage is that it will help Google to index your pages quickly. All those pages which are indexed by this search box function is automatically indexed by robots and added to Google's databases. Its not just about Making money but about deep indexing and site navigation. After the introduction of Plus project, Google developers have transformed all services to look like Google Plus. They recently introduced a search box which looks exactly like Google's official search box. You can see it towards to top right corner of our site. If you insert a query inside the box and hit enter you will land on a different page where results are displayed. 
This is one of the few social sharing widgets that took a lot of my time in designing it. You have seen the trend of floating sharing count buttons on popular blogs. The traditional icons are now replaced with auto incremented counter buttons that are updated in seconds. We created different versions of this bar applying both Jquery effects and CSS3 styles but this widget is different because it contains custom twitter, pinterest and an Email button. Services like Addthis and Sharethis are both doing a great job but they still need to work on some of their plugin integration conflicts. Pinterest pin it buttons are causing great trouble and it badly fails in fetching the correct thumbnail image. In most cases it does not even select a image thus making the entire pinning concept tasteless. We however redesigned the widget provided by shareThis to create a new one by correcting all flaws. This sharing bar would float to the left of your blog posts and would float as the visitor scrolls up or down. This widget contains counters of important social networking sites that has the potential to bring you traffic by circulating your content to a wider audience. We have tested the widget on major browsers like IE7+, Firefox, Chrome etc. and found it working just fine with no compatibility issues or design conflicts. We have published so far 3 different versions of a sticky bar as a custom design to Hellobar. It appears at the top of your website or blog to attract visitors towards an important announcement, ad or update. The previous versions included social media buttons and a close functionality. This widget uses Jquery to create a collapsible slide panel that can be expanded or collapsed. Any important message or blog update can be inserted inside the announcement box no matter how long it may be, the message will appear only once the visitor clicks the slidepanel. I made sure it looks neat and clean and may not occupy big space therefore this latest Jquery script helped me to add the slide functionality to it thus giving birth to an entirely useful and cool blog widget.
